There are multiple ways in which you can explore the Satpura National Park, which is located 80 kms from the resort (drive time: 2 hours). Unlike other parks in the country, this is perhaps one of the few places where visitors can walk through the jungle. You can book a walking safari at the resort, where you will be accompanied by a guide. This activity is particularly recommended for avid bird watchers.   If walking safari seems like too much of effort, you can also book a jeep safari or camp in the forest under the stars. Night safaris in the buffer zone are also a good idea as you get a chance to spot nocturnal animals. Once you are done with safaris, you can also opt for canoeing and motorboat trips in the reservoir that surrounds the park. Want to do something offbeat? Book a cycle and go down to the dam where you can fish and spend some downtime in the company of nature or unwind at the resort with a bonfire.
